Visit the official UIDAI website (myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in) by clicking the button below and log in with your 12-digit Aadhaar number.

Step 2: OTP Verification

Now, you’ll receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter it to access your profile.

Step 3: Select Document Updates

Choose what you want to update as there will be multiple options showing up on your screen.

For example if you want to change address, click on “Update Address.” For document updates, select “Document Update”

After choosing document update you will see a disclaimer, read it carefully then Click next as shown below.

Step 4: Document Upload

Now it will require you to Upload your supporting documents based on what are you updating in your Aadhaar Card. Remember, the file size should be less than 2MB and can be in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format.

Step 5: Check Status

Check the status of the Aadhar Card update after sometime, here you will see the status of your information update.

After Successful update, you can perform your Aadhaar Card Download.

After submission, Aadhaar Card updates typically take 7-30 days to process. You can track the status using your URN on the UIDAI website.

Offline Update Method

Sometimes, you might need to visit an Aadhaar center, especially for biometric updates. Here’s what to do:

  • Find your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra
  • Fill out the update form
  • Submit your original documents
  • Complete biometric verification
  • Pay the required fee (₹50 at centers)

This offline method to update Aadhaar Card information is best suited for those who don’t want to update the information online or unfamiliar with UIDAI online portal.
